Case Study
Roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton NJ
    St. Isaac Jogues

St. Isaac Jogues did an exhaustive search to find a worthy contractor to construct their new 34,000 SF facility in Evesham township. This project would prove to be the roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton’s largest church. After selection , bidding and a detailed value engineering review Hessert was selected as the successful contractor. The steel, block and brick basilica style church boasts two 44,000 lb. main trusses and a stainless steel cross is mounted on a copper roof steeple 100 ft. above ground. Unique to this project is the complex clear span structural steel frame. To expedite this project and assure a late fall masonry start, Hessert revised the construction schedule to fabricate key building elements out of sequence.

When the Congregation decided to add a 10,400 SF classroom and administrative addition to the facility, Hessert was again chosen to lead the Construction Process.

After hearing many horror stories about the construction of buildings from my brother Pastors who have built, I was pleasantly surprised with my dealings with Hessert Construction. They have proven to me that they are very capable and have gone out of their way to make our working relationship as stress free and enjoyable as it can be. The greatest compliment I can give is ‘When I build again, it will be with Hessert’.
